My name is Johnathan, but I go by John. I graduated from Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, PA in May of 2016 where I received my Bachelors of Arts in Communication and minored in Youth Ministry. After graduation, I migrated south to Nashville, Tennessee, where I've lived for the past 10 months. Growing up, I was a student athlete and loved the lessons sports taught me. I still love watching sports today and always love when a spontaneous pick-up game starts with my friends. I love music and it's not uncommon to see me at a concert getting lost in the moment and meeting artists after the show. My other hobbies including reading, spending time with friends, writing short stories and poems, and drinking lots of coffee.
Throughout high school and college I didn't want to be boxed in or labeled as one thing. I enjoy learning new things and finding challenges to improve myself, and I believe this is something I will always look for as I grow. My ultimate career goal is to manage public relations or perform some other form of communication within a corporation or a small firm. In the meantime, I am working on improving my communication and public relations skills in anyway possible through both customer service and administrative tasks. In addition, I have aspirations of writing a book one day, doing some form of sports analysis, and serving as a volunteer within a church ministry. I hope to travel and see the world, while also finding a place where I feel I belong and can call home.
